An assortment of gleaming lakes, rolling hills and emerald fairways garnish the landscape of this Florida course. With its unusual elevation changes, the natural setting of the Copperhead course will probably remind you of a Carolina layout rather than Florida’s West Coast.
- Course designed by E. Lawrence Packard, opened in 1974
- 75.6 rating/140 slope
- 7295 total yards from championship tees
- 18 holes, Par 71
At the end of 2003, PGA TOUR professionals voted and gave the Copperhead Course a grade of “A” as a championship venue. The Copperhead was one of only five courses on the 2003 PGA TOUR schedule so honored.
The course plays host every fall to the PGA Tour’s Chrysler Classic, which draws some of the world’s best golfers.
